Wildlife Biodiversity

The Wildlife and Biodiversity Research Program conducts wildlife and habitat investigations to identify, characterize, and conserve biodiversity in tropical landscapes and to better understand the ecology of individual species. Our studies encompass common as well as and threatened, endangered, or sensitive tropical wildlife and Neotropical migrant birds. We are investigating general patterns of plant and animal distributions, species habitat relationships, the ecology of selected species, and the impacts of natural and anthropogenic disturbance on wildlife and biodiversity.
